Google AdSense Is Good Using Money Online

first things people think of. AdSense is easy to work with and it is part of Google. The big question is when making money online is AdSense the way to go about it? Personally I use AdSense and have been for about half a year now and I do make a small income doing this. Yes, I've also seen these "online programs" that will help you make $10,000 a month and so on but in reality I can't see it. Google AdSense is a good make money online program if you have the time, knowledge and dedication to making AdSense work for you. If you think that just plunking a few ads on a website and checking on it once a month will work then quit now, it's not going to happen for you! Personally I send hours a day at times trying to figure out AdSense, I've read everything, like as www.adsense-income-exposed.com tried almost everything but I'm not making $10,000 a month. Making money online is skill but for these big boasters I think it is a bit of good luck as well. If you get into the right niche and have a good idea on site promotion then you will do above average. For the majority AdSense will just be some extra money once and a while and no more then that. You can have the best site ever made on the www but if nobody knows about it you will get no traffic. for more details www.instant-adsense-dollars.com There are more then enough SEO companies advertising but do beware and make sure they will guarantee what they say. SaaS and Small Business

Software as a service (SaaS) is seen by many as being an increasingly important tool for small businesses. It is a relatively new concept that allows you to 'consume' software on a subscription basis, instead of the traditional model of continually purchasing an expensive updated version every few years (in the style of Microsoft Office and others).

There are a number of benefits to be gained from this emerging industry for both small businesses and individual users and this article reveals four of the best reasons for switching to a SaaS solution for your software needs.

1. No Installation Required

The beauty of SaaS is that it does not require you to install anything onto your computer. It will run straight from your browser window when you log into your SaaS service provider's website. This means you will not have to spend hours sat in front of your computer with a pile of installation CD's trying to start working with the new software you have purchased! The majority of SaaS is not browser specific and all should work fully with the three major ones (IE, Firefox and Safari).

2. Not Platform Specific

It does not matter whether the computer you are using runs on an Apple Mac OS, Linux or Windows - as long as you are able to use a browser and access the internet then you can use the software. This makes it far easier to switch platforms if you desire.

3. Automatic Upgrades

You will always have the latest version whenever you log in to your SaaS account because there is only ever one version available. Never again will you need to worry about your software becoming obsolete and unsupported by the company you purchased it from. This also means that the SaaS provider is able to quickly make changes within a matter of hours if an error is found in the software.

4. Access Your Data Anywhere

One of the greatest advantages of SaaS is the freedom it gives you in terms of when and where you choose to work. All of the data you use within the software is stored on the servers of the SaaS provider - meaning you can log into your account wherever you are in the world and access it instantly. It also ensures that your data is safer than it would be if it was only stored on your home computer.

Hopefully this article has convinced you about the benefits of using SaaS applications in your business. If you wish to try out some and see what you think, I recommend www.salesforce.com for CRM and marketing purposes or www.winweb.com if you want to run your entire business from home.

Joint Venture Benefits For Marketers

What are joint ventures? Lets say that you have two internet marketers who sell similar products. One has a great product but no opt in mailing list, affiliates, or other ways to promote their product. The other may be a great marketer with many subscribers to a newsletter say for instance. They get together and work out a deal so they both profit from selling the marketer's product who has no way to promote it.

With more people starting online businesses these days the most effective way to market a new product and make your business grow is the enter into agreements with other successful marketers to help you sell your products.

The trick to all of this is to find a fellow marketer with an existing mailing list say whose subscriber will best fit your product. Once you can do this you can ask them to send an endorsement of your product to his subscribers. You won't have to worry any more about generating traffic because is will already be done for you.

By joint venturing with an already successful internet marketer your product will be perceived as having value and you will gain an instant reputation because your product is being recommended by the successful marketer. It is possible to go from a newbie in the field to a guru almost overnight.

Also one of the underlying benefits of joint ventures is that you will be building a relationship with someone who has already been where you are today. They know how to make a product sell and can advise you what you can do to make your products better. This information alone is more than worth sharing your profits.

Secrets To Getting Website Traffic

Let's say you have done all the legwork to create a great product, you have a killer salesletter, and your website looks really good. All this will be of little help in selling your product if nobody ever sees you website or salesletter.

I'm sure that you have heard of search engine optimization. Well this is not the only way or probably even the best way to get traffic to your site. Getting listed in the search engines is only lucrative if you are near the very top of the listings because most people using them never scroll beyond the first two pages. There are companies that tell you they can get your site listed at the top of the search engines. The cost for this however is very high in most cases.

A way to get your site noticed for a lot less is to have your site listed on a website with very high traffic. Imagine your website mentioned on the front page of Yahoo's website for instance. Your website would be flooded with traffic almost immediately. So the trick is to get other websites with high traffic volumes to link to your site.

One way to do this is to make a deal with the high traffic website to provide a link on your website back the theirs. In return they put a link on their website back to your site. This technique is called reciprocal linking and is very common. You will have to make sure however that your site is in the same niche market as theirs and that your site provides good content and compliments their products. You may also find places where you can buy links from high traffic websites for a reasonable price. Anyway you can do it the time and money will be well spen

Our New President: Revealed By His Hands

President Barack Obama is left-handed. Only 10% of the population is left-handed. It is my observation of left-handed folks in general that they tend to be less prone to listening to others and more prone to follow their own convictions, whether those convictions buck the trend or conform with it. (Right handers can certainly be mavericks, too! It's just that given the smaller population of lefties, there appears to be a larger population among them that has that desire to stand out from the crowd and simply do things differently.) They think creatively about situations and do have maverick streaks. Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Nicole Kidman are all lefties, too, for whatever that's worth.

Obama's little finger curves in a bit towards the palm which indicates a fear of being too vulnerable and seeking protection. He works toward tremendous self-control to not show his vulnerability. The finger is also a bit curved, like a crescent moon, indicating trust issues, possibly relating to early abandonment by his father.

His heart line, which starts beneath the little finger and curves up between the middle and pointer finger. This is the Big Heart heart line, indicating that Obama is a nurturing, generous and caring person. He has a non-negotiable need for connection. His heart goes out to the wounded birds of the world - the less fortunate.

His head line, which begins on the palm between the pointer finger and the thumb, is separated from his life line, which happens in about 20% of hands. It indicates "independence of thought." Obama absolutely thinks for himself and comes to his own conclusions. Because of this, he is unlike to be bought or sold very easily.

His head line is also a gift marker, know as the "Hal 9000" - named after Hal 9000 in the movie, 2001: A Space Odyssey. This type of head line goes almost all the way across the hand, but stops about a ¼ inch from the edge of the palm. This gift indicates that Obama's mind works like a super computer, able to parallel process huge amounts of data quickly. He is the grand synthesizer. He needs a job that is big, complicated and important. Being President of the United States would certainly satisfy this headline.

Most folks who have this thinking ability have a mind that is chronically underemployed. If YOU have a gifted problem-solver head line, you need a large, world-scale issue to solve or your mind will create large problems, particularly in your personal life, to keep itself occupied.

You can choose: solve a world-scale problem or create tangled webs all over your life to try to untangle. (If you want to find out more about the Hal 9000 head line, why not join our Master Mind this month which focuses on this gift? You can find out more here.}

The vertical line extending upward toward his little finger is a "line of insight" indicating that Obama is introspective and interested in the deeper meaning of life. He asks questions such as "Why are we here?" and "What is our purpose?"

Our finger zones indicate our business niche. Obama's two largest zones on his right hand are the middle zone of his pointer finger (goals) and the bottom zone of his middle finger (nature, the environment, values and moral code). Obama's personal goals are goals that improve quality of life, particularly as it relates to open space, undeveloped land and natural resources. He is likely to be a big advocate for environmental protections and conservation. (I also get the sense that Obama said as little as possible during the campaign about his BIG plans for the U.S. in terms of being an energy leader. Time will, of course, tell.)

The tip of his thumb is very large, indicating enormous drive and will power. The way his fingers sit on the ridge of his palm indicate he is a teacher and leader called to the spotlight. The mounts of Venus (at the base of the thumb on the palm) and the Moon (across from the Mount of Venus) are large, indicating that Obama is a phenomenal storyteller with a romantic bent and love of culture. He is a sensitive, thoughtful person who is more likely to become sad than angry when he sees injustice in the world.

Baeth's Coach's Challenge: What is YOUR large, world-scale issue to solve? If you didn't see it as a 'problem,' who would you have to BE-come to make inroads to change?

Torn Between Two Businesses, Feeling Like a Fool? Discover HOW To Choose

Remember the song that goes, "torn between two lovers, feeling like a fool?" I know I can feel that way about all sorts of things - not just lovers. Grin. Perhaps you're struggling to decide which business idea to focus on. You know you need to choose, but you don't know how. Your hands give us clues as to what may be challenging you.

The middle zone of your thumb is known as your zone of logic or the "third eye" zone. This part of your hand represents your ability to discern, plan, and decide. This zone, between the tip and base of your thumb, can sometimes contain a series of horizontal lines. These horizontal lines operate as energy blocks.

If you find these horizontal lines on the middle zone of your thumb, it means you are inundated with choices. If you are a business owner or wanting to start a business, you probably either own one or more businesses or you're having trouble deciding which one to focus on.

Let's use logic to explore your dilemma.

#1 You have LOTS of choices, lots of options. This is good. This represents abundance.

#2 Chances are you created all these choices because you have many talents. This is also abundance.

#3 You want to satisfy every choice and end up with lots of unfinished projects.

#4 You struggle with overwhelm, lack of focus, frustration, and indecision.

#5 Planning and implementing a CLEAR plan... huh, what's a plan???

If you have horizontals on the middle zone of your thumb, you are abundant but confused. What is required is MAKING A CHOICE. In this particular situation, HOW you choose is more important than WHAT you choose. You simply need to choose and stick with that choice.

Here's is my pet formula for HOW to choose well.

Get a piece of paper and lay it down landscape-style. Draw a grid on the paper with 5 rows and approximately 15 columns . Make a list of all the options, ideas, and goals you are currently contemplating and put them at the top of each column. (You may need more than one piece of paper, LOL!)

Then list your top 5 values down the left-hand column, one for each row. (Mine include Love, Health, Presence, Creativity and Freedom.) Going across each row, rate the project listed at the top of the column from 1 to 5 - 1 the lowest, 5 the highest - in terms of how that project expresses the value in the corresponding row. For example, let's say I want to publish a new e-book. I would go down the column, rating that project from 1 to 5 in terms of love, health, presence, creativity and freedom.

Now, add up the totals for each column at the bottom of the page. Which projects ranked highest and which ranked lowest for honoring your values? Now, pick the project that rated highest and FINISH it. Do whatever it takes to stay focused on your target. A coach, mastermind group, or goal-buddy can be invaluable. Just remember, you MUST choose or continue to run like a hamster on the wheel of choices.

By developing a "niche" in your field, your reputation spreads quickly and soon you become a recognized expert. DO -- Be creative about where you can find business. The Internet offers a large variety of potential for clients just waiting for you to contact them. Actively network and don't limit your marketing to simply sending out one press release or posting on a board or two. You want to find where there might be a need and go fill it. Always present a professional image and network. Become the expert that everyone looks to when they need information on your niche.

DO - Offer exceptional services. Word of mouth can be one of the most effective ways to secure new clients as well as keeping those clients for years to come. Always go above and beyond and let those clients know they were right in entrusting you with their business.

DO -- Write a complete business plan and marketing plan. Too many leave out this vital step and waste valuable time unorganized and without a clear-cut goal and direction for their business. When starting a business you will have tons of ideas floating around. You need to materialize all these and put them into a workable plan of action.

DO -- Develop a website that looks sensational! Your website is often the first connection a potential client has with your services. It must immediately let them know that they are dealing with a professional. Your site must then have the POWER to draw them to you and contact you. Let them see that you value quality by the look and feel of it. Additional tips include letting them know what services you offer and why you are qualified to offer those services by mentioning your experience and education. Be sure to include points on why you stand out among the rest and are the BEST! For example, if you have been featured in articles, radio shows, etc., have add that to the press page. Your clients will sense your positive attitude and want to be a part of your team.

DON'T -- Underprice your services. The average virtual assistant today makes somewhere between $35 to $100+ an hour, depending on their skills, services offered, location, and years of experience. Don't make the mistake of assuming if you charge the lowest prices, you'll get the most work. You won't. Instead, you'll end up working outrageous hours for peanuts! Clients will pay more for professional services. When a potential client discovers you're charging a lower rate than standard, they often feel they will receive a quality of services that is also lower.

DON'T -- Overextend yourself. One of the common mistakes many virtual assistants make is to accept too much work and then not be able to accurately complete it. Learn to say no or have a back-up helper who can assist you with any overflow work. Remember one of the most important ingredients for success is keeping your clients satisfied. If you overextend yourself and make a lot of errors, it will jeopardize your business.

DON'T -- Get discouraged. It takes time to get a business going. Plan ahead and have money saved in reserve. Don't buy items until you have found the best possible price and there is an absolute need. This advance planning takes the pressure off of having to make money NOW. If things are slow and the phone just isn't ringing ... MAKE IT RING!! There's plenty of work out there, you just need to aggressively pursue it.

Finally, the most important ingredient for success is your belief in yourself. If you believe that with your skills and experience, you can own your own business, then there's nothing stopping you. DREAMS DO COME TRUE. SOMETIMES YOU JUST NEED TO MAKE THEM HAPPEN.

Grow Your Virtual Assistant Business with These Top 10 Tips for Good Client Relations

Want to have the best relationships with your clients? As your grow your virtual assistant business, it's important to build solid business relationships with your clients. Then these clients will not only keep coming back, but also refer others to you.

Here are ten fun tips to help you establish a great working relationship:

#1 - Come Again? It's critical to establish right from the beginning how you will handle the communications with your clients. If e-mailing, what is the standard turnaround time that you respond back to emails. If phoning, what are your hours? Once a client knows when they will hear from you, then they can plan their day and work accordingly.

#2 - No Surprises - Nothing is worse for a client than to discover four hours before you leave that you are heading out on a week-long vacation. That's stretching it a bit and you probably wouldn't do that, but think about other ways you might be surprising your client and not giving them the advance notice they need. Keep in mind that they are probably under pressure too to get their work done. Always give as much advance notice as you can when things will disrupt the business flow.

#3 - Where'd She Go? For building good client relationships, try not to disappear off the radar screen. Check in with your clients often. When a client writes and they don't hear back from you for days (or weeks), they fear the worst. Even if you are working on a large project and the deadline is weeks away, e-mail them and let them know "All is going well." That builds confidence and security.

#4 - OOPS, Where Did That Come From? We've all been there. You get the email from the client saying they found a typo or typos. Ouch. We can't be perfect, but try and be as close as you can. Proof and reproof your work. Also, if possible wait until the material is fresh and reread it again. Determine the time when you are at your best, and use that time to do your proofing.

#5 - Super Size It Please - Always give your clients more than they ask for. You will be rewarded with not only more work, but lots of word of mouth referrals too. And there are so many ways to do it. For example, 1) Set up an Autoresponder for them so they can sell more products; 2) Set up Google Alerts under their topic or target audience so you can find websites or blogs that will help them spread their message; 3) Help them produce a newsletter or blog; 4) Send them more clients or referrals; 5) Ask them directly what you can do to better the relationship; and 6) Most importantly, listen to what they say. It's so easy to get busy and listen with half an ear, or try and talk too much about your business. Being a good listener is a valuable asset.

#6 - Short and Sweet - Make sure that all e-mail correspondence is typed accurately and is short and to the point. With everyone having busy schedules, this helps your clients save valuable time. One thing you'll discover is if you write too long of an e-mail often your main points will be missed. This isn't to say that you shouldn't strive to get the answers you need, but keep in mind that their time is valuable and to use it wisely.

#7 - You Need it WHEN? - Determine exactly when work is to be completed or when the order is to go out. This will save a tremendous amount of problems down the road if everyone is in agreement. It's also good to have a written contract. Be specific. Once everyone knows what is expected, things run so much more smoothly.

#8 - My Dog Ate It - One thing you want to do is always try and make your deadlines and avoid excuses. We all know that things come up and that's okay if it happens occasionally. However, if you make it a habit of needing additional time or not finishing projects, that client will fear sending you more work. Not a good thing.

#9 - Saved by the Bell - Make it a point to back-up your work on a regular basis. And test those backups. Can you imagine even losing a week's worth of work? Your clients are counting on you to protect their work so you want to make sure it is.

#10 - Howdy Partner - Remember that you are establishing a partnership relationship with your clients. You want to help their business grow because as you do, your business grows too. Let them know you value them as a client and are glad that they have entrusted you with their work. In other words, you appreciate them. Also, let them know that you appreciate referrals so that they can help in your success. It can be a two-way street with this partnership.

And finally, enjoy. Start a friendship with your clients and let them know that you care about them. Most of my clients today are good friends. This isn't to say that I'm not professional and don't conduct myself professionally, as I do. However, I let them know that I'm also interested in them personally and how they are doing. I take time to know their birthdays, their kid's names, etc. Think how you feel when something lets you know they care about you.

Hope you enjoyed these 'fun" tips. As our Industry continues to thrive, it's important to earn the respect and trust of our clients and also fellow Virtual Assistants. When you set up your business with the goal of doing a fabulous job, you'll end up with fabulous clients, and fabulous friends. It's a win/win for all.
